Nelly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 1996.

Nelly began treating pelvic health issues in 1998 and continues to be actively involved in clinical practice, mentoring and teaching. She has helped develop continence programs that have been implemented in various long-term care facilities through Ontario. She has spoken at numerous grand rounds, symposiums and conferences, including The Urology Update, Canadian Ambulatory Care Conference, Ontario Physiotherapy Association Interaction Conference, Southlake Hospital OBGYN Clinical day, Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist Annual Conference SOGC, Mount Sinai Mature Women’s Day and at St. Michael’s Hospital.

Nelly has been a spokesperson for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, has co-authored a neuro-urology textbook chapter on incontinence and has hosted a round table at the International Pelvic Pain Society Conference.  She is a member of the ICS Children and Young Adult’s Committee and the ICS Physiotherapy Committee. She regularly attends international conferences and prides herself on staying on top of the current pelvic health literature.

Nelly has a passion for treating this group of patients and plans to continue to help increase public awareness of various pelvic floor dysfunctions and their impact on quality of life.
