Lauren graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2008. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Science, Honours degree at Queen’s University.

 

While Lauren has experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine, she has spent the majority of her career treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Lauren completed her initial training in New York City and has done further training both in Canada and abroad. In order to maintain her evidence-based practice, Lauren attends international meetings held by the International Pelvic Pain Society, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health and attends the World Congress on Abdominal and Pelvic Pain. Lauren is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, its Women’s Health Division and Pain Science Division. Lauren has also taken numerous courses in chronic pain. Lauren is also an Assistant Instructor with Pelvic Health Solutions.

 

Lauren enjoys treating patients with persistent pelvic pain and urogenital dysfunction. Each patient is truly unique and requires a personalized approach for successful treatment of all the issues and complexities that exist within this patient population.
