Kamand Zendeganidoost “Kam”, PT
Registered Physiotherapist (PT)
She/Her
Kamand is an experienced orthopaedic and pelvic health physiotherapist. Through her own experiences she has come to appreciate the value of pelvic health. Specifically when dealing with menstrual cramping, pain with intercourse, constipation and more recently pregnancy, childbirth and post partum recovery.
Kamand graduated with her Kinesiology degree from York University in 2007. After working as a Kinesiologist for several years, she later graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2012. She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and its Women’s Health Division. Her thirst for learning and passion to provide the right care for her clients is what drives her to pursue continuing education courses in pelvic health and orthopaedics.
Kamand uses an integrated, patient specific approach to treatment. She strives to hear each of her clients’ stories to identify how to best assist them to achieve their goals. Her treatments involve education, hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture, and targeted active exercise programs to successfully treat pelvic related conditions.
Kamand has experience in treating both men and women who suffer from pelvic pain, urogenital dysfunction, ano-rectal dysfunction, as well as pre-natal and post-partum conditions.
Outside of work, Kamand enjoys walking her dog, listening to audio books and chasing after her two toddlers.
